How I started my blog
This could be a long essay though, but not to worry I will keep it simple and short😊.
So most people go like I started writing at age 9 or even less and how reading and writing had been a part of them since birth.
My case is a complete out of nothing scenario like How we believe God created the world out of nothing…oh no girl do not start preaching…you have just been asked a simple question. lol

Okay, now back to how i started as i said, i do not remember writing any poem as a kid, all I know is staying up late in the night has been my thing since ages past.
It was somewhere in August 2014, I just laid down and in my alone moments I decided to find solace in writing… So the notepad on my phone finally got something better to do!

And the first piece I wrote was for God, sent it around to some friends of mine and it was all positive responses i received back.
Then the next day i found myself opening a WordPress account after doing some research on blogging…
I wondered how I was going to manage it because obviously i did not know where I was going…
I kept writing poems mostly dedicated to my Maker but the blog was not as active as it somehow is now…
I was looking for a path that suits my passion and my being and it is almost 2years i started this and to God be the glory i found it!
I finally found my niche right in Him(God).
So every single day I dedicate my everything to Him and to making Him known to the rest of the world…it is still early but with His strength the tallest walls will be scaled to send the message across.
So I will say God purposely picked me and put His words in me and caused my fingers to write them out for His glory!
Exactly how it all began!

My advice to new bloggers
Always find your niche and no matter how difficult it is for people to get what you actually mean, persistence will get your work to be looked at, and and at the same time reason with you on the same page.
So just be yourself, flow naturally, work hard at it and allow God to do His work, that is to perfect whatever you have😊.

Please I will be sending links to my nominees, kindly accept it☺️☺️

Thanks so much for reading this! I want you to know that you are officially a part of my prayer plan.
Really grateful for all the comments, likes and contributions.
Finally I pray your heart desires be met in the name of Jesus!

Everything you bring out begins and ends in your mind.
If your mind is dead, so your dreams will be and if it is alive then that is a great start.

No one can force you to fail in life unless you allow them, you are the only one responsible for how your future will be like.
Always remember that your feet will never take you where your mind has never been!

Thanks a bunch for following this!
Blessings…

Usable Vessels Part 4

img_6392
Glory to God!
Hopefully this will be the last part of the usable vessels message.
Today, we bring you the fourth part dubbed the willing(desiring) vessel.

Let us get started right away…
Just incase you missed parts 1, 2, and 3 here are the links to that…
https://papberry.wordpress.com/2016/06/24/usable-vessels-part-1/

https://papberry.wordpress.com/2016/06/25/usable-vessels-part-2/

https://papberry.wordpress.com/2016/06/27/usable-vessels-part-3/

From our previous studies, we have established the truth that, God is likely to choose a clean and empty vessel as well as the one closest to Him for honorable purposes.

As said early on, we will look at a vessels willingness to be used for good works.
Have you ever wondered why God gave our free will to us right from the start?

It is pretty simple, He is a caring and loving God who does not desire His children to be like robots!

He gives us freedom to choose! He always does. Even though He knew we had limited minds, He still believed so much in us to make the right choice, but it is rather unfortunate we always prefer chains to liberty.

If there is one thing God will not do…it is to go against the will of His children, He always gives us the opportunity to make our own choices(mistakes…lol).

Jesus Christ had a choice to make even though He was slayed before the foundations of the earth was established, but when the appointed time had come, of course He could have opted out but for you and my sake He went through with the plans of God.
Jesus was willing to die for us, it was not a forced act! And He did that out of love. We do know that love is voluntary in that, you cannot force someone to give it to you, so the same way, Jesus willingly gave Himself to us.

So now, the thing is no matter how clean or empty you are or how close you are to the Almighty, He cannot use you if you do not have the desire to be used.

img_6390

Most often when people are forced to do things they have no passion for, they produce results far below expectations but when someone does what he loves to do, desired results are produced!

The Apostle Paul tells us that, whatever we give to God must be because we want to and not because someone wants us to…

2 Corinthians 9:7
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Food For Thought
Good does not produce average but perfect results when He puts His mind to something, so until you are willing to give your all He will not use you.

Prayer
Father, thank you for your word and forgive me for all the wrongs i have done, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. let my desire to do your work continually grow stronger without boundaries in The name of Jesus.Amen.

Yeah, I love this one too.
Sometimes all you need is a shoulder to cry upon and someone to just listen to you without judging you.
People go through hell and survive while others do not make it out of that place.
Sometimes being surrounded by love is all it takes to put the past behind you and this is what He promises us.

Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

It is only in Christ that we find rest amidst the violent storms and just like Shadrack, meshach and abednego we can confidently walk into that fire because we know the One we serve is able to cool us in the hottest heat, for His glory!

I think we good for day 2!😅

I love this quote very much because it focuses on one thing, that is the solution to every problem JESUS!

Sometimes we get so engulfed in certain situations which turn our minds completely off the solution because we have made the problems look bigger than they actually are.
Today I want you to know that no matter what you going through, there is and there will always be a way out.
It might not be easy, convenient and quick but one thing I am sure of is that if you keep going and refuse to give up you will find the way!

Jesus said in John 14:6 that “I am the Way And the Truth and the Life.
He is the light of men so wherever Jesus is darkness(problems) dissapears making the way clear for unhindered movement.

Goodnews is if you are born again, He resides in You.
Wow! What a wonderful revelation!
There sure is a way out of every situation and that is Jesus, allow Him and He will lead you through safely!

Usable Vessels Part 3

img_6378
Glory to God!
Today the Holy Spirit and i are going to treat the third part of the usable vessels message.
Let us get started right away…
Just incase you missed parts 1 and 2, here are the links to that…
https://papberry.wordpress.com/2016/06/24/usable-vessels-part-1/

https://papberry.wordpress.com/2016/06/25/usable-vessels-part-2/

What kind of vessels would God use and what will be the criteria for selection?
From our previous studies, we have established the truth that, a vessel’s availability and its cleanliness are important factors to consider when selecting one for use.

Today we will study the Emptiness of a Vessel as one of the criterion for selection.

I like using the kitchen to illustrate situations not because I love food that much but because it is a common thing everyone can relate to 😅.
So let us walk to the kitchen in search of a bowl to eat some rice from it because hunger keeps knocking with all the noise that comes with it in the belly (not pleasant).
Looks like someone ate in my favorite bowl and left it unwashed but i am too hungry to wash this before use…
Oh that bowl looks new, when did it get to the kitchen? i wish i could eat from it but i am too hungry to go through the trouble of getting it from the top of the kitchen cabinet.
Oh and that one, it is covered but has already been filled with something else.
Looks like I would have to go with something new today because apparently all my favorites are taken!
I am sure we have gotten the picture now😊.

God desires to use you for His glory but He needs a place to dwell before His works will be made manifest.
God is a Spirit Being and so is the devil, and yes! both require a human body to execute tasks in the earth realm because the world was created for bodies not spirits.
God cannot fill a body that is already full with the opposing spirit because light has absolutely nothing to do with darkness.

No matter how clean you are or how close you are to the master, you cannot be used if you are already full or occupied with other duties.
You might be in a boat(situation) now that is almost sinking and you would have to get somethings off the boat to save your life.

The bible says in Hebrews 12:1-2
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus is your goal line therefore running this race as a Christian, you must fix your eyes solely on Him to ensure victory!
Rid yourself off anything that distracts you and allow Him to fill you because with Him inside you, your little efforts are made mighty to the pulling down of strongholds.

Food For Thought
Without your body, God cannot work on this earth as well as the devil. Whom are you going to allow to use your body? Having in mind that every action comes with consequences.

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus, I am thankful for your word today, forgive me for fixing my eyes on temporal things on this earth that only leads to death.
I decrease that you may increase in me, I am just but a vessel ready to be used by You Lord. I avail myself, use me. Amen.

Usable Vessels Part 2

img_6347

So continuing from where we ended yesterday, today we are treating the second part of the usable vessels message.
Here is a link to part 1 just incase you missed it😊
https://papberry.wordpress.com/2016/06/24/usable-vessels-part-1/

What kind of vessels would God use and what will be the criteria for selection?

Yesterday we established that, a clean vessel will be chosen for honorable purposes.

Today we will treat the availability or proximity of the vessel as one of the criterion for selection.

Let us look at this, I believe communication is the basis for a successful relationship and so without constant communication a relationship will end even before starting.
When man sinned and fell short of the glory of God. There was no communication between God and man as it was in the beginning thereby creating a wider gap as time went by…
The more you talk to someone the closer you get to that person and through that trust is also built and secrets are revealed to you.

Our only means of getting close to God is by communicating through prayers and using the manual for life(The Bible) daily. The more you prayer, the more you remain under His shadows and the more He reveals mysteries unto you.

So let us say i have been friends with you reading this message for a long while, and i have proved my worth by earning your trust somehow someway in diverse ways.
Now, you have acquired a multi billion contract, but you have to link someone to work on it, would you give it to a stranger or to me?
I am the one likely to be used because i have walked with you and you know my ways.

We must be close to God in order to hear Him speak to us and know His ways, or else we cannot work with Him even when we get the appointment.
Samuel was sleeping in the very presence of God where the ark of God was. His proximity to Him made his call clear and thereby making it possible for God to use Him.

Remember that when I need you for something important and urgent and the distance between us is too wide, i have an option to call, but what happens when your phone is also unavailable?
Whatever opportunity that was meant for you will be passed to the next available person no matter how clean you are, you must also be available to pick up your call into greatness.

James 4:8 says…
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Your cleanliness and your availability matters!

Food For Thought
No matter how clean we are, if we are too busy to even hear our phone ring, opportunities we have been waiting on will pass us by.

Prayer
Thank you Father, for your kind words, please help me stay connected to you all times so I do not miss out on the good things you have packaged for me. Amen
