Day 29! My Confession

You know when i was a little girl i actually wished i was a boy🙊,
i was always around guys and playing with guys. Maybe it’s because of the neighborhood i grew up in .
I could save up my money and go lease a bicycle because i didn’t own one just to ride around. Even when people were screaming at me to stop doing that. I really could care less about their feelings😅.

Seriously i asked so many questions as to why i didn’t come a boy, i wanted to be able to bath outside like the guys do and because of those little things on my chest i wasn’t allowed to.
I would build cars and all sort of stuff with empty milk tins just like what the guys did and whenever i’m in class i wish classes was over already so i could go flex a little with what i made.

But as i grew up all those things was taken out of me because i realized i don’t have to carry male genes to be able to do what i love even though sometimes society frowns on certain acts when it’s being done by a female.

God help me to accomplish the purpose for which i was brought into this world…I know it is very huge and i need Your grace even more🙏

So that’s it! My confession.
A day more to go…
God bless you all my lovely berries for the support!
The love is still deep❤️😘😘.

Day 28 of 30 Days Blogging Challenge

img_6285-30

Yes! It’s Day 28 and i have been struggling to remember any happening i can term as my most embarrassing moment!

Okay… Let me just share this!

So back in junior high school my mummy bought a very nice sandals for me and i just couldn’t sleep that night. Wishing it was morning already so i set out in my new sandals…
Unfortunately it rained that day and i refused to even stay at one place all because i wanted people to notice my sandals…lol
So amidst a lot of guys as i modeled pass them, the sole of the sandal pulled out😅😅…I guess it had soaked to much water than it can actually drink😅.
Oh but how can this sandal disgrace me like this??
It didn’t end there… I had to walk bare footed to my house, something i really hate, I even wear slippers in the bedroom so you can imagine how i felt that day😅.

I think that’s all for today also.
We’ve got 2 more days to go, let’s do this!!!
Love you all but God loves you most!
Meet me here tomorrow Godwilling, byeeeeeee.

How Do You Pray?

img_7097

This week, we have been studying about prayer and today we are looking at how to pray because it is a necessity, and if it must be done, then it must be done well.

img_7094
Whiles the disciples were with Jesus, the only thing they could ask of Him was to teach them how to pray because they realized that Christ was not going to be with them all the time so they must be prepared to face the world in His absence, Jesus Christ equipped them with this format knowing that prayer is the only key that unlocks the gates of earth for heavenly interference.

Matthew 6 is our constitution as believers and this is how Christ expects us to pray from verse 9 to 13.

In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

This teaches us that whenever we pray we should start by thanking God for what He has done and giving reverence to Him for who He is.
We must worship Him and make Him know that He means more than the world to us.
And because the rulership of this earth was given to man, we must give permission for heaven to appear here on earth, so we ask God to rule in our affairs as He does in heaven. We ask Him to take total dominion of everything concerning us.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.

Now we continue by asking for forgiveness knowing that we are holding nothing against another because His words makes it clear that, He only forgives us if we forgive others, so then there is a need to be cleansed of any impurity so we can get close to our Holy father.
Now we present our needs for the day into His hands because He has already told us not to worry about tomorrow for it shall take care of itself.
So we take it a step at a time.
Whatever we desire in the day we pray about it, not only the physical food but also the food that gives life(the word of God). We need a particular food(word) to carry us through the day and we must ask that it be revealed unto us.

And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Then we continue by building fortified falls around ourselves, family, friends and church.
That God should order our steps so we do not step on traps set for us.
And whatever that we are bound to be broken off in Jesus name because we know that all power and authority belongs to Him and whenever he opens or shut a door no one dares to contradict His actions.
Finally thank Him for making His ears attent to your prayer and for answering.

Please note that your prayers must always be prayed in the name of Jesus Christ because He is the only way that Leads to the heart of the Father.
Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you as you pray according to the will of God using this format given in Matthew 6:9-13.

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus thank you for this day and all in it, I am grateful for making your grace available unto me.
I ask that you will forgive me of errors committed against you (the conscious and unconscious) and cleanse me that I may be clean.
Thank you for your Holy Spirit who helps me to pray in the right direction.
Take total charge of me this day and make my paths straight.
Thank you Father for making your ears attent unto my prayer and for answering them in Jesus’ name, amen.

Don’t Give up on Prayer

img_6327

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

The secret behind continuity and perseverance is that it yields greater results.
I remember when i was a little girl and even now😅 i will make it my daily duty to disturb(torment) my mum(i mean worry her to the extent of she getting angry and saying i’m tired go for it!) That feeling though😅…mission accomplished lol.

I call this operation no rest until i get what i want!
Do you remember the poor widow in the bible who wanted justice from an unjust judge who did not know God?, her persistence forced the judge to grant her justice just to prevent her from coming back to disturb his peace.

We all need that stubborn attitude of not giving up when it comes to prayer.

Yes! You must pray until something happens and even when you do not feel like praying, pray till you feel like it.
Rejoicing at all times even confuses the enemy so keep on praising God in your lowest and highest moments and watch things turn around for your good.

What would you loose by praying? Nothing! So why not continue opening your mouth in prayer since it does not come at a cost but stopping can ultimately cost you your life.

God has given us the go ahead to disturb him in prayer until He establishes us!
He wants to know if we are serious about that thing we mentioned sometime ago.
Prayer is the only legal earthly license for heavenly interference.

Isaiah 62:6-7
…You who call on the Lord,
give yourselves no rest,
and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.

My bible tells me to rejoice always and i am sure yours does same.
And so let us make it a point to pray and be joyful at all times no matter what the circumstances around us declares.
Rejoice! for it is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

James 5:16b
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Do not give up on prayer yet, your solution is on the way! Be patient.

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus thank you for this day and my life. I am indeed grateful for how far you have brought me. Dear Lord forgive any error committed against you and cleanse me that i may be clean.
I commit my prayer life into your care, help me stay active even when i do not feel like. The spirit of perseverance and persistence, i ask of you this day. Give me a stubborn attitude of not giving up on prayer in Jesus Mighty name have i prayed with thanksgiving, amen.
