Don’t Give up on Prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

The secret behind continuity and perseverance is that it yields greater results.
I remember when i was a little girl and even now😅 i will make it my daily duty to disturb(torment) my mum(i mean worry her to the extent of she getting angry and saying i’m tired go for it!) That feeling though😅…mission accomplished lol.

I call this operation no rest until i get what i want!
Do you remember the poor widow in the bible who wanted justice from an unjust judge who did not know God?, her persistence forced the judge to grant her justice just to prevent her from coming back to disturb his peace.

We all need that stubborn attitude of not giving up when it comes to prayer.

Yes! You must pray until something happens and even when you do not feel like praying, pray till you feel like it.
Rejoicing at all times even confuses the enemy so keep on praising God in your lowest and highest moments and watch things turn around for your good.

What would you loose by praying? Nothing! So why not continue opening your mouth in prayer since it does not come at a cost but stopping can ultimately cost you your life.

God has given us the go ahead to disturb him in prayer until He establishes us!
He wants to know if we are serious about that thing we mentioned sometime ago.
Prayer is the only legal earthly license for heavenly interference.

Isaiah 62:6-7
…You who call on the Lord,
give yourselves no rest,
and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.

My bible tells me to rejoice always and i am sure yours does same.
And so let us make it a point to pray and be joyful at all times no matter what the circumstances around us declares.
Rejoice! for it is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

James 5:16b
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Do not give up on prayer yet, your solution is on the way! Be patient.

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus thank you for this day and my life. I am indeed grateful for how far you have brought me. Dear Lord forgive any error committed against you and cleanse me that i may be clean.
I commit my prayer life into your care, help me stay active even when i do not feel like. The spirit of perseverance and persistence, i ask of you this day. Give me a stubborn attitude of not giving up on prayer in Jesus Mighty name have i prayed with thanksgiving, amen.
