Does going and staying in church make one a Christian?

Well, the fact that you are in church 24/7 does not make you a Christian if you are not living up to the name.

You could just be warming the pew, adding up to number and filling space you know.

Christianity is a true and pure religion but are people who find themselve in this sphere pure and true as their religion?

Let’s check what the bible says about Christianity …

Deuteronomy 10:12-13

And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?

James 1:27

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

So now let me ask you this.

Do you even greet people or say just a simple hello to that person you always meet on your way to church?

Do you lend a helping hand when someone is in dire need of it? Or you simply pass ’cause you will be late for church service?

Remember that Christianity isn’t a race where we are all competing for the same crown.

Christianity is about helping others win the race so they can receive their own crown.

Christianity is love!

The love of God is what keeps us alive so keep someone alive by sharing this love.

Don’t just go to church to warm the pew! There are too many churches with too many people doing that but remember that if a tool box kept in a garage cannot quality to be a car then a human being even making the church his bedroom does not quality to be called a Christian if he does not have the makeup of a Christian!

Let’s initiate a change and soon enough by the grace of God we will be living the change!
