Today’s Fragrance: Even the devil sees himself a Christian.

Topic: Even the devil sees himself a Christian

Main text: 3John 1:11

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

How can there even be a thought of there being a fake is an original is not in existence?

It’s only an original that can be imitated so if you want to imitate, you must be creative and smart enough to copy the original, you will sell more! that’s exactly what the devil does no wonder he portrays Himself an angel of light to lead the masses astray.

we all have or used to have this image of the devil being a scary black creature with horns on his head and all that, but if we have this description of him, do you think he will come in that manner if he wants to get our attention?
A big no! The devil is too clever for that!

In view of this the devil himself pretends to be a Christian in order to deceive his victims.  Satan never appears in true form, lest he be exposed for the evil person he is (John 8:44).

Revelation 2:12-13 tells us that Satan dwells in the Church, “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos… where Satan dwelleth.”  Satan works relentlessly to CORRUPT the church, the Word of God, and our young people. His aim is to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10).

But 1 John 3:8 says…The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. Hallelujah!

2Corinthians 11:14 warns us that Satan himself appears as a good guy (divine messenger of truth).  But the truth is He is just a counterfeit!

The Word of God (Jesus) is the true Light, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105).  The Gospel is the Light, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2Corinthians 4:4).

It might look attractive but as long as it gets you to sin, it’s definitely not real!

The message the Lord is putting across through me is that, there are so many things that looks attractive in this world today but remember appearance can be deceptive, it could be a plot to conceal the ugly so to drag you into something deadly.

And so if there is someone you would want to imitate, it surely must be the True light, because that light will shine on your path lest you hit your foot against a stone and direct your movement in this world.

Jesus is the only way to the father, beside Him there is none other!

Blessings…

Prayer

Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for this day and this message. I pray dear Lord that you will forgive my sins as I forgive those who sin against me. Spirit Divine open my eyes so I can spot a fake in the wrappings of an original.Be my light Lord, and lead me out of this strange land into the promised Land in Jesus name have I prayed with thanksgiving.amen.

I remind myself of the importance of clinging to the truth, all of it, because the adversary knows most people won’t swallow a lie, but they often don’t think twice about it if it’s wrapped in the truth. Thanks for the great reminder.

If God wants to bless you he uses an individual and if the devil wants to destroy you he uses an individual. Appearance can be deceptive. Nice piece.
