Today’s fragrance: God-fidence.

Today’s fragrance by Papberry

Topic: God-fidence

Scripture: 1 John 5:14

“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us”.

First of, confidence in God is what I call God-fidence.
Sometimes as believers, we get frustrated because our prayers seem not to have been heard by our Maker even though we really have been “praying”.

The truth is many of us haven’t received the things we prayed for because we’ve been praying for the wrong things.(James 4:3)

The will of God is our confidence for prayer, this means that if we know what God wills concerning our lives, it would be easier and less stressful because we will just go straight to the point without wandering at unnecessary places.

God gives nothing outside His purpose for our lives.
So get your God-fidence on by knowing what He wills for your life and pray for that!
Everything we will ever need has already been provided, we just have to pray it forth, work towards it and watch to see those manifest even physically.

So there you have it!
You need to know your purpose in order to receive from God else you will be frustrated. Jesus always prayed for the will of God to be done and he worked to accomplish it.

Say bye bye to frustration by putting your God-fidence for prayer on, thus using your will to do God’s will in prayer and in works.
Blessings…

Prayer

1. Thank God for your life and this message.

2. Ask for forgiveness of sins.

3. Ask God to reveal His will for your life to you through His word and other means if you don’t know.

4. Thank Him for hearing you in Jesus name, amen.

  1. Thank you for sharing your walk of faith and this wonderful reminder! God wants us to draw near! Although I struggle with quieting myself during prayer, listening for God’s whisper is so important! Prayers for your journey!
