Topic: keys to unlock answered prayers

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:13 

By the grace of God we are starting a series on the basic keys to unlock answered prayers. Stay with me on this journey as the Holy Spirit enlightens you through me to getting answers to your long awaited prayers.

We will take it one at a time to get a full understanding of the keys. The post God-fidence is the foundation to this post read here if you haven’t so that you can follow this post well.

Key one

1. To unlock answered prayers one must approach God in holiness.

Jeremiah 29:13 says…”You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”.

Approaching God in holiness means praying from a pure heart. It is only when your heart is aligned with God’s that you get to know His ways. 

God cannot be mentioned without talking about holiness because without it absolutely no one will see Him( Hebrews 12:14)

It is only when your heart is pure (right with God) that you would be able to seek and find Him and see His salvation (get Him involved in everything you do).
God commands us to be holy even as He is holy, this means that , we should set ourselves apart unto Him (focus on Him).
The book of james 4:3 reminds us that asking in doubt brings no positive result. So at this point, focusing on God is very necessary because when you do this, your mind, heart, conscience, intentions and everything moves in one direction.

You can’t ask God to do something for you and have different thoughts at the same time , you will never get anywhere with such prayers.

That is why approaching God in holiness is very important because once you set yourself apart unto Him you are aligned in every aspect of life in the ways of God.

Holiness is the ticket into God’s presence without it you won’t find Him not to talk of laying your requests before Him.

The truth is, you can be praying alright but you will just be sweating for nothing for those kind of prayers are unable to reach the ears of the father.

It is my prayer that you don’t just read this but practice to see results.

1.Thank God for the gift of life and this word.

2.Ask for forgiveness of Sin.

3. Surrender your life to God and ask Him to help you leave a holy life because you cannot do it by yourself.

4. Thank Him for hearing you in Jesus name, Amen.
