Topic: keys to unlock answered prayers 3
Scripture: Acts 3:16
“By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see”.

Key 3
3. Pray by faith in the name of Jesus Christ.
John 16:24
Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
There is something about this particular Scripture that explains our frustrations in not getting prayers answered.
Ultimately Jesus wants our joy to be complete by giving us all we deserve, what we don’t deserve and even the things we don’t even know we need, but the issue is, we are just missing the point!! We are using the wrong keys to open the right door…
We are seeking hard enough by praying and that’s excellent, but we must do it the right way else we will be uttering empty words.
It is only the power at work in the name Jesus and the faith that comes through Him that grants us the grace to receive what we ask for.
Some people have faith in faith but that is an error, it shouldn’t be because there is no virtue in faith per se but there is One who gives and makes our faith complete. He is Jesus and He makes our faith “full” because He is faithful.
Whenever you pray, do it by faith in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!!

1. Approach God in holiness
2. Pray the word of God and not your words.
3. Pray by faith in the name of Jesus…

3. Present your requests to God And ask for grace to always obey His word no matter what.

Yes, it is only through Jesus that we can come to the Father at all. We need to pray in His name in order to be heard. And faith is enriched by the name of Jesus, He is the key to our doors. Good post, Pap!

Loved this last key…because the bible says that a person who prays and has doubts in his/her heart is an unstable person and shouldn’t expect to receive anything from God.
