: Bless others with your Blessings

: Daniel 2:48-49

“Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men. Moreover, at Daniel’s request the king appointed Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego administrators over the province of Babylon, while Daniel himself remained at the royal court”.

Whenever men get their relationship with God right, their “people” relationship falls in its proper place~ Papberry

Sometimes being friends with someone isn’t all about taking selfies or having regular chats and gossips with that person.

It goes beyond that! This is why true friendship is reserved for a selected few in one’s life.
It also doesn’t mean other people become your enemies, no. Maintaining a good relation with all regardless of their status is necessary.

Taking a ship as an example, one side should not carry more weight than the other else the unfortunate will happen. There is a need to keep things balanced so you can have a smooth sail.

I like to say it is the same with friendship, once a part becomes so weightier than the other, the ship will begin to sink gradually and by the time you gain consciousness the selfies will be fun no more because you would be in the water.

Now let’s take a cue from the exemplary life of Daniel.

Sometimes the blessings we receive are to be used to bless others as well, but some of us are so self scented that we always want friends to come begging for something when we can actually help them get to a level where they also can begin to bless the lives of others.

Daniel, after being elevated to a high position, did not forget where he came from and those he called friends.

He helped them also to get to a better place.

I strongly believe that at that point in time his work was easier because he had such trusted friends to help him accomplish a cause set before him.

Know who your friends are and help them get to the comfortable Zone, remember they came into your life for a purpose so take nothing for granted.

If Jesus had considered Himself first, I don’t know how deep we would’ve been in the bottomless pit but Love made Him look at us first and here we are …

May the good Lord help us be better friends to our friends.

1. Thank God for the gift of life and this word.
2. Ask for forgiveness of sin
3. Pray for the people in your close circles and present other requests to God.
4. Thank God for an answered prayer in Jesus name.
