Topic: Your enemies will fall before you.
Scripture: Psalm 23:5
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows”.
When God decides to bless His people, the enemy has no authority to stand in the way but if they stubbornly do God uses them to play a major role in His children’s uplifting.
Let’s take a look at Esther and her older cousin Mordecai who raised her in the absence of her parents…God was going to bless Esther and through her set the Jews under the rule of King Ahasuerus free. But one arrogant and evil man called Haman started to plot against them for personal gains.
Little did he know that before he thinks God had already thought.
God placed Esther and Mordecai in a special place in the heart of the King that even after all Haman did to bring them down, he rather ended up being the one the king used to honor Mordecai. He was busily preparing good things for his enemies without knowing, and when he found out later He mourned greatly for he was humiliated.
May the Lord prepare a table for you before your enemies and may they be the cooks without knowing! May this be your portion in Jesus name!
So Haman told this to his wife and his wise friends and this is what they told him,
“If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of the Jewish people, you will not overcome him but will surely fall before him.”
Finally the gallows Herman prepared for Mordecai was the same one he was hanged on! (Esther chapter 6)
This morning I want to tell someone that no matter what the enemy plots concerning you, you shall not be overcomed because you are God’s elect, your head is anointed with oil and His blessings overflows in every aspect of your life!
Man you are covered!
Dear lord, thank you for today. Please forgive my sins even as I forgive others. Thank you for this assuring word today, it gives me hope that no matter what your plans concerning my life shall prevail and not the enemy’s. Lord continue to use me to cause a shift wherever I find myself in Jesus name have I prayed with thanksgiving, amen.
