Thoughtful Tuesday

Hi there,It’s a Thoughtful Tuesday and here is something for the going😅

So just incase you come across those people who always make it seem as though you are useless because they can’t accept your uniqueness.
Immediately they start rattling about you conforming to their standards tell them your standards ain’t set by humans, that’s Good news because that means you can’t be limited in anyway.

Just because you don’t do something as good as them doesn’t mean you are worthless, I bet there is something you can also do far better than anyone else.

Don’t let people push you to become them, push yourself to become you!

“God spent a long time creating you and God doesn’t make worthless things.”

Come on, live out your purpose!

Today’s fragrance : Let peace rule

Scripture: Colossians 3:15
“And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”

In the above scripture the Apostle Paul calls believers to live in peace. We receive this peace from God through Christ Jesus. This peace should rule in our heart, meaning it should be in charge of how we live.

Believers are not called to live in violence or brawls among each other, but in peace.

This text discusses the need for Christians to tolerate, love, and support each other. Christians are all part of a spiritual “body,” which is the church with Christ as the head.
Therefore peace within the body requires peace between its parts.

The truth is every group of believers will experience internal conflict at times, but seeking peace will help us resolve issues in the context of Christian love.

we must deliberately allow that peace which has been given us have effect in our lives.

Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Remember that the peace that Christ gives guides us in all decisions we make.

Finally let’s have an attitude of gratitude towards our Maker always.

Blessings…

Prayer

Father Lord, thank you for my life, thank you for the peace you’ve given me, help me spread it to anyone I encounter in Jesus name, amen.

Today’s fragrance: Control that tongue

Scripture: James 3:3

“We all make many mistakes, but those who control their tongues can also control themselves in every other way.”

Yes! We are human beings and that means we are full of flaws. But that isn’t something to take advantage of to intentionally make mistakes so you can slam the saying, “after all I’m human and I’m bound to make mistakes” on the faces of well wishers.
The human tongue, most times is underestimated because of its size but it carries so much weight than we can imagine!
A tiny rudder makes a huge ship or plane turn wherever the pilot wants it to go, even though the winds are strong.

So also, the tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do! It is a tiny spark that can set a great forest on fire.

Despite the strong winds blowing in your life you must make a firm decision to turn your rudder (the tongue) in the right direction because you are the one in charge! You are the pilot of your life.
Turning it in the wrong direction has the ability to turn the entire course of your life and that of others into a blazing flame of destruction, for it is set on fire by hell itself!
Is it not amazing, how blessings and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth.

One moment the tongue praises the Lord and the next moment it is found raining curses upon the creation of the same Creator it praised few moments ago.

That ain’t right!

But the truth is the tongue only brings out what it finds within.

What comes out through our mouth is as a result of what we’ve fed our system with.

But to be able to live a good life pouring forth only good deeds you must learn first to

Control your tongue and once you achieve success in that, you can also control yourselves in every other way.

All this is possible to achieve once you let God lead the way.

Blessings…

Prayer
Father Lord thank you for today, today I promise to control my tongue and turn it in the right direction no matter how much I’m provoked so help me Hod in Jesus name, amen.

Today’s fragrance : He gives strength to the weak

Scripture: Isaiah 40:29
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

In our world the weary is further burdened and the weak, oh they get trampled upon and neglected countless times.

You might be going through a phase in your life where no one wants to even listen to you, and you’ve also stopped listening to yourself as a result of that.

Your situation might be bad but it’s leading you somewhere good.

One of the characteristics of God is that He ministers strength to those who are conscious of their own feebleness, and looked to Him for support.

There has to come a time in your life where you come to the realization of the truth that you have no might in yourself or other people but Him, and It is only then can He increase His strength in you when needed.

The apostle Paul says, “The power of God is made perfect in our weakness,” (2 Corinthians 12:9) this may be fulfilled; but if our hearts are not deeply moved by a conviction of our weakness, we cannot receive seasonable assistance from God.

We serve a God who does not just possess all these qualities, but He shares His strength with those who need it. He has all energy, energy to spare and to share. Whether we buckle under life’s pressures or lack innate strength, He provides durable, stable power.

All you have to do is go before Him just as you are and ask.
Blessings…

Prayer

Father Lord, I recognize that I do not have any strength of my own, I surrender to you my God, quicken me and sail through life with me in Jesus name, amen.

Thoughtful Tuesday

Hello deariesIt’s a Thoughtful Tuesday and I share a quote with you.

“As long as you know that God is for you, it doesn’t matter who is against you”.

Sometimes we all worry too much concerning things that have no power or authority over us, as children of God.

We worry about doors being closed when indeed there are no closed doors because once God opens no one shuts.

We worry about how people are plotting evil against us when the bible says no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper.
This scripture means that surely your enemies also have to work, but after all their hard work, that plan will not work on the intended target because you are a child of God! What a waste!

So have this in your heart and mind, that as long as God is for you, it doesn’t matter if the whole world goes against you because you will still win!

My dear God’s got you so leave the worry for your enemies to do because the things that God has planned for you, no eyes has seen, no ears has heard and definitely no mind has even imagined!

Blessings…
