Scripture: Matthew 6:31-33
“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”.
Too many times the Lord tells us believers not to worry about anything but the natural man! He just loves to worry! So to be on a safer side you need to ensure that the spirit man is leading the way always, then the natural has no option than to follow!
If only we will trust God a little more, and actually believe that He will do what He says, then we will have fewer and fewer problems to deal with.
I might not know what you are going through right now and it might be as hot as hell but the thing is, worrying never gets problems solved, it rather compounds them.Maybe you are wondering what is gonna happen to you tomorrow should you not receive that sms alert that your account has been credited.
You might be be thinking of accepting some fraud deals just because you think you’ve run out of options, but wait…
I’m here to tell you that, God isn’t dead, He isn’t deaf and neither is He blind that He can’t see what you are going through. He feeds the birds who do not “hold cutlasses to weed”, every one of them He provides for and they do not sleep in hunger. See the ants, they receive their shares too.
How much more you! You who is created in His image and likeness, Do you remember that He did forsake His only begotten son just so you will be redeemed?
Come on! He didn’t bring you this far to abandon you.
The only thing you should be concerned about now is seeking His kingdom and His righteousness, because that’s the only way you will receive all other things…
All other things can only be found in Jesus because in Him all things were made.
So stop racing with unbelievers in chasing things that are already yours.
All you need can be found in Jesus but you’ve got to seek Him first to lay hands on those possessions.
Thank you Lord for how far you’ve brought me, please forgive my rebellion and give me grace and strength to hold onto your words in Jesus name have I prayed with thanksgiving, amen.
