Today’s Fragrance : Man Cannot Be Trusted

“BLESSED are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose HOPE is in the Lord their God” Psalm 146:5

Who do you go to for help? And in whom have you put your hope? It could be the reason why you are either happy or sad.

It’s always a relief finding someone you think will help you out and as a result of that you pour out your heart including all the things you never wished for anyone to hear or know to him because your circumstance pushed you into that.

Now hoping to receive what you need, you are however hit with an uncalculated tsunami as the one you hoped to secure you in a hopeless situation leaves you to walk on that path alone. In the end he makes up excuses even though you know that person has resources to help but for some reason he holds back.

How does it feel being let down by someone you thought would have your back no matter what?

Man is an unstable insatiable being, today he wants this and tomorrow a totally different thing.

How then can we put our eggs is such a basket?

When it comes to hoping in a thing or someone there is always two things involved. It is either you are redeemed or put to shame.

Putting all your hope in your pastor or any man just isn’t right, He might be God’s Anointed but still a man he is. What happened to Jesus whom the pastor preaches?

There’s joy in the Lord who ever hopes in Him finds it.

“And now Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee” (Psalm 39:7, KJV).

we clearly see that, for us to be happy or better still be filled with joy, we must turn to God.

His plans for you can only be made manifest when you put your hope in him. Your eggs can only be safe in His basket… Putting it somewhere else won’t guarantee safety and He won’t crossover to that basket to guard your eggs when you didn’t trust Him enough to put it under his care in the first place.
This morning, it is my humble prayer that we will against all odds put our hope in the the One True God, the who is able to save and ensure that His children are not put to shame. Glory!
