Today’s Fragrance:The Cleft of the Rock

God is indeed a good good God! His lovingkindness is forever more. He always grants us fellowship and revelation to the degree we can handle without being harmed. Look at how God responded to Moses’ request to see His glory: even though He says, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” Exodus 33:20

It is intriguing how that did not prevent Moses from chasing after the impossible knowing within him that it is possible.

God knew the heart of Moses and knew how hungry it was and He was moved to satisfy his hunger.

So the Lord went on to say,

“Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.” (Exo 33:21-23)

That cleft in the rock is a foreshadowing of the ultimate Rock, Christ Jesus!! (1 Cor. 10:4) It is in Him that we also(believers) are able to experience God’s goodness and glory.

Oh I have great news for you dear believer!!

We can also see God!! We can experience Him, we can yearn for more of Him, even more than Moses experienced because the Spirit of the Lord lives within us. We are hidden in Christ and for that matter we can see the face of God In Christ Jesus. Jesus says in John 14:9 that anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father.

Arh! We can also enjoy full fellowship with God our Father in Christ Jesus.

Isn’t this amazing?

We are hidden in a place in Christ where we are found righteous and the glory of the Lord remain harmless unto us for in Christ we are without sin, that’s exactly how the Father sees us.

Oh Thank you Father, that we have access to you at all times through Jesus Christ. Thank you for revealing yourself unto us. You are a great and awesome Father!!

And yes. I’m saving this: “he always grants us fellowship and revelation to the degree we can handle.”

That’s so right. Many people think let me know all there is to God all at once. Let me walk in all the gifts and know deep revelations. God isn’t trying to hide them from us, he made them for us, but he also says that pride comes before a fall. He won’t pour new wine in old wineskin. A level of consecration is needed to receive each degree of pure revelation from his word.

Yes!!! New Wine definitely deserves a new wine skin because old skin is too rigid and cannot handle newness it will be destroyed!
We cannot know God all at once, not even a lifetime will suffice in knowing Him. But I’m glad He reveals Himself to us every step of the way as we earnestly seek Him.
      God bless you Sis.
