Do you find these thoughts constantly running through your mind, “I’ll never get it all done…especially if I take time out of my hectic schedule to read my bible and to pray!?”
Which of these, to you is bigger? God or your schedule? Ideally, which of these is supposed to accommodate the other?
I believe the answers are clearly registering in your heart.
Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can’t make more time and so when you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you’ll never get back. Your time is your life. That’s why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.
The importance of things can be measured by how much time we are willing to invest in them. The more time you give to something, the more you reveal its importance and value to you. If you want to know a person’s priorities, just look at how they use their time.
It’s not enough just to say relationships are important, we prove it by investing time in them.
However, time spent with God is never wasted!! In fact it is the best investment deal ever, you will reap benefits forever!
Giving God your time could equally mean waiting on Him. And the good news is, it doesn’t matter how tight your schedule is, waiting on God is that activity that will give you what you need to go through your day fruitfully in super strength!
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
It is pretty simple, If you want all things to work together for your good, don’t try to fix God Into your schedule rather, fix your schedules in Him.
Do you know why? He holds all things perfectly in place!! Colossians 1:17
