Inactivity is not Christian

“For the word of God is alive and active…” Hebrews 4:12

I believe strongly that there is nothing the word cannot.

I don’t see any problem the word cannot solve, man’s biggest problem which is by far the greatest problem to ever exist was solved by the Word personified. Jesus Christ.

As my brother and friend would say, and I quote, ”it takes a lot of effort to be lazy!!” I sincerely do hope you get the message in the above statement. There is too much at stake to be lazying about, most especially to the Christian. Being a lazy Christian is proof that the Word hasn’t taken root in you and you in Him. If it were not so you would have found something to do!

The Word is a doer, therefore it comes not as surprise that Jesus who is the word began doing even before teaching. Acts1:1

Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. Jeremiah 20:9

So yeah, the antidote to inactivity is the Active word of God. Get the word in you!

What the early apostles were first introduced to was a doing Jesus! If we claim to follow Him then we must be doers as He is. That way we can qualify to be branded Christians!
