Today’s Fragrance: The Presence of God

“And He said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest”. Exodus 33:14

The promise of God’s presence with us is a thing Christians should delight in always. This is because, God’s presence with us, grants us the assurance of rest. Rest, signifying completion and satisfaction.

So Moses, in petitioning for God’s Presence to be with him and the Israelites, spoke as one who dreaded the thought of going forward without God’s presence. Moses mentioned that he wasn’t going a step further if God’s Presence wouldn’t go with them, knowing that their marches could not be safe, nor their encampments easy, if they had not God with them. So in effect, they’d rather stay wherever they are and die because they won’t make it to their destination without Him anyways…

Now here is the awesome part!

You and I in Christ Jesus now, do not have to petition God for this one thing that seemed all important than anything else to Moses, of which He wouldn’t proceed his journey without.

We have it! God’s Presence forever!!

And this proves it …For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

This, is why we are able to boldly proclaim “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Once God’s in anything we are in with us, we know we are definitely finishing gracefully!

Rejoice friend, rejoice! God’s got you!

Walk in the light of this word today and stay victorious!
