Today’s Fragrance: God’s For You!

Many times we, as Christians endure things we’re supposed to be resisting. We suffer and are unable to come out of whatever holds us bound because someway somehow, we’ve been made to think and to believe that God brought it on us to teach us some sort of a lesson.

But I ask…really, why would a God who is Love, teach the people He loves eternally, His people, a bitter lesson through some misfortune in order for them to learn good?

This just doesn’t sit well with me… at all… but well, thank God I don’t believe in any of that…

This is what I believe.

If God wants your attention He will love you, in fact, that’s all He’s been doing all along! and not to bring some destruction upon you. God is not an author of evil. He is a good God and He is Love.

While we were yet sinners, He didn’t bring destruction upon us, because it is His will for all men to be saved( 2 Peter 3:9). He rather died for us. God showed us love when we didn’t deserve it, we still don’t but He still loves us because of who He is, love.

God loves us regardless of what we’re addicted to, the question is, are we willing to respond to His love? And not let that addiction separate us any further?

Our sinful acts doesn’t negate the truth of God’s love for us, it doesn’t prevent God from loving us, it prevents us but He’s made a way, Jesus. His precious blood cleanses us and grants us unlimited access to the Father!

Whatever point you have reached, if you call on the name of the Lord you shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

Call on Him, Just call on Jesus…Now!

God’s love for us is so incredible! Rather than condemning us, he sent his son to give his life for our sin and resurrected him. His love draws us to him. “Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? “(Romans 2:4 NLT)

    Thank you for sharing, Papberry.
