Today’s fragrance: Check Yourself.

Today’s fragrance by Papberry

Topic: check yourself

Scripture: Isaiah 59:2

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear”.

The reason why you are not receiving that help in times of need might be because of you.
One thing I’ve learnt in life is that humans most times, when messed up in some situations will try to find someone to push the blame on just to satisfy our conscience.

But there is One who consistently “suffers” in the hands of humans in these cases…God…haha

It’s funny but pretty intense, I mean how can you attribute your problems to Someone who takes no delight in seeing you drop a tear and for that matter bottles it up so that they don’t even touch the ground!

We’ve all at a point in our lives felt as though we were all alone in this space God made all because we feel God has gone mute on us.

Let me tell you that God hasn’t changed, He is still where He is which is closer to you than your skin! So don’t for once think that He would ever forsake you because He will never go against His word.

The problem isn’t with God but us, He doesn’t move from us, we do, when we sin then after we condemn ourselves as unworthy of His presence even when He is offering forgiveness.

The connection between God and man is a Holy one and once it gets broken…it must be fixed else no call will get through to Him like a distorted telephone line. But should this happen, how will He hear us not to even talk of meeting our needs?

God loves your company so much that He wishes you never leave His sight even a second. But it’s rather unfortunate that sometimes we allow the desires of our flesh to lead us to sin thereby making an impenetrable dark or curtain separating us, and making it close to impossible to get to Him even though He is close.
Sometimes we don’t receive answers to our prayers because genuinely it’s not time yet. But there are others that never really got to Him due to the fact that we’ve been stuck in our own pile of sin unwilling to change our ways yet we want to see God’s glory revealed in us…

This is a special note to you who constantly like to attribute every wrong thing in your life to God, I wanna kindly ask for you to check yourself before you do that next time.

Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.

Call on Him today and be saved.

Blessings…

Prayer

1. Thank God for your life.

2. Ask for forgiveness of sin

3. Sincerely Lay everything bare before Him so that you may be saved and consequently find help in your time of need.

4. Thank Him for receiving you once again in Jesus name, amen.

Today’s fragrance: Your need has been catered for.

Today’s fragrance by Papberry

Topic: Your need has been catered for

Scripture: Luke 19:4

“So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way”.

Many times in our lives we feel cut off from the rest because we feel we lack certain things.
We make those things place us at disadvantaged positions but today I’m here to announce to you that your need has already been catered for.

Maybe you don’t see yourself pretty or handsome enough and you don’t see yourself having some qualities to fit in society.  But did you ever read about zacchaeus?

That short man wasn’t even considered someone who had the chance to meet Jesus because of his sinful nature but aside that how would he have even meet Jesus when he was surround by giants considering his size…

many times Jesus was surrounded by a large crowd and it would be difficult to penetrate to get to him.
But when the time was right for him to be saved, his size nor his attitude mattered less for God had already made provision for that life changing encounter “The sycamore- fig tree”.
Long before zacchaeus could meet Jesus Jesus, that tree was already planted to meet his need at that particular time.
So my dear, your need has been long provided just that you have to leave that zone in which find yourself, run ahead, move from those people who make it seem as if your dream will never be realized and find your “Tree”. That tree has been purposely planted to meet your need.

Blessings…

Prayer

1.Thank God for your life.

2.Ask for forgiveness of sin.

3.Present your requests to Him.

4. Thank Him for hearing and answering your prayer in Jesus name, amen.

The ungrateful child

son

last week I encountered an old man who began telling me some things as I sat by him in a bus, obviously he lacked people to talk to so the least chance he got, he shared his story. It was awkward in the beginning but gradually I warmed up to the conversation. I had thoughts running through my head as to why a man who just met me felt comfortable enough to let me in on his life issues. Then I was like let me just listen and learn, after all what have I got to loose?

This old man probably in his early 70’s started grumbling about his only son…

He was like, I’m just from my son’s house and as I got there I couldn’t even spend the night because he thinks I’m a bother now that he has a good job that pays him and other things making his life comfortable. I went to talk to him but as usual he wouldn’t even sit down to listen to my “nonsense” and make some sense out of it.

My daughter, the issue is a little complicated but listen and learn from it so you don’t repeat this mistake, the old man said with small a voice as I looked into his weak eyes and saw little drops of tears trying to escape them.

I lost my wife in labor when my son was birthed. Things were pretty tough in the village where I reside but I promised my wife to give our son the best. I had to work all kinds of menial jobs to gather enough money and sometimes borrow to ensure that my son got the best. I had to do by force fasting without prayers (starving) sometimes for his wellbeing and I gladly did without thinking twice, because he was all I had.

His university days were like nightmares for me, things were seriously tough but all the same I had to look for other means of catering for my son and through the struggle God was and has been faithful seeing my son through school and now he has a very good job here in the city. But it looks like my son does not know who I am anymore. I don’t know what happened but anytime he sees my face he looks at me like someone who came to beg for alms and also one who came to reap what he has not sown.

So my daughter tell me the wrong I did by taking care of this boy even when my strength couldn’t suffice so that at least in my old age I will enjoy life but see my end, total rejection, coming from my very blood…

I believe we have started judging this boy but pause and read this before…

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. Rev 3:20 (NIV)

This is Jesus speaking to us, after all He did for us He still has to stand at the door for so long and knock and exercise enough patience for us to walk leisurely to the door, look at him through the small whole and realizing He is the one, we never allow Him in ‘cause he is coming to “disturb” us. Now we are comfortable with the life we have, so its  Jesus I don’t need your presence, go! when I’m in in need I will call for you. Isn’t this sad?

sorry

Anytime we reject Jesus His heart hurts but He still hangs around just in case we remember all he did for us when we didn’t even love ourselves and decide to allow him in.

Say this prayer with me if you wanna invite Him in this moment, i mean now for time waits on no man…

Lord, Jesus, today I accept that I am a sinner and that it’s for my sins that you died, and for my redemption you raised from the dead and so I take you as my Lord and personal Savior, come into my heart and teach me the right way for I want to walk with you forever and so help me God, in Jesus name amen.

If you have said this prayer believe that you have been saved. The bible says, for it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:10

Let no one take your crown

crown

I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. Rev 3:11

You might be thinking whom is this message for…

Well it is to the church of God. The church isn’t any structure but those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Our Lord Jesus says He is coming soon and so what we have received from Him should be guarded with iron hands that no one snatches it from us, for we would have toiled for nothing if He comes to meet us empty and useless.

Immediately one accepts Jesus into his life, that person is enrolled in a spiritual race for a crown at the end of it all. The good news with this race unlike the others is that, in this race everyone who is able to finish will receive a reward, so it’s not about who finishes first but who endures to the very end. Those we are in this race with are not our enemies but brothers, in that they pick us up when we fall or grow weary and urge us back on track so we can all cross the finish line.

Because this is a race we must prepare ourselves before enrolling and the good news is that whoever is called is also equipped with whatever that is needed to finish. But the racer must also do his part by preparing himself as well as following all rules pertaining to the race so he does not end up disqualified. The rules are outlined clearly in the Word of God.

So until He comes, the who rewards and the righteous Judge who is Jesus Christ, do not stop running and don’t just run aimlessly but run like one with a target set to be accomplished following all rules associated.

Today we are being cautioned to take heed lest we fall into the traps of false prophets who come in the name of Jesus but in actual sense are to lead people away from the right path through deception.

Anyone who sways from the right path to tread on the path of evil doers will have the same fate as them unless they repent…Rev 2:22

The summary of my message to you is to run the race to the end holding unto the decrees of God and when He comes you will be rewarded duly.

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the spirit says to the churches. Rev 3:13

God bless you all.

Note that this only applies to those who know Jesus and so if you want to enjoy the unfailing promises of God say this prayer below with me as you invite Jesus into your heart.

There is just One route.

same

Just imagine there were many routes that led to your house, but now due to rural urban migration even gutters are being sealed for structures to be raised and gradually only one route has been singled out.

Maybe there was one that was shorter and easier to use but it has been blocked by structures and so now everyone must go through a single route whether they are comfortable with that or not. You might try being stubborn or should I rather say smart to find other means like jumping peoples fences so you can get to your end faster but we all know the risks involved.

My point exactly is that…

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. John 14:6 (NIV)

Jesus is that one way that leads to your home, all other means are illegal and will get you into trouble.

We are all but strangers here on this land, there is a place called home we desire to get to. Our permanent residence. Fortunately or unfortunately you get to decide where you wanna go cos there are two places actually, one is likened to light and the other darkness.

There are two buses taking us on a journey, both with drivers and one leads to the destination of life, the other, death.

Only one driver is authentic, the other a fake just deceiving members on board to get them to his desired destination, destruction.

As passengers concerned about safety we desire a driver with positive traits and one who actually knows the route to this permanent home. The only One who knows the route is the One in the driver’s seat of the authentic bus, He is the only One who has travelled that route. If you stay in that bus you are assured of a safe arrival at the right destination.

Has anyone of who had an encounter with a bus driver that you vowed never to be onboard a bus he drives? Some even stop the drivers and alight before getting to the right destination for fear of losing their lives due to the recklessness of some drivers.

My dear friend if you are in such a bus, you don’t have to wait till you suffer an accident before, I urge you to get off now because it will only lead you to your untimely death.

Before one can get on any bus, a fare must be paid, and you have enough confidence in the one driving to entrust into his hands your life. If these requirements are met, I believe then you can get on the bus if not then you must find your own route which we all know is a dangerous job.

And so I take this opportunity to introduce to you the driver of the authentic bus, who knows the way to where we rightfully belong, and is Himself the Way, the only authentic and legal route that leads to our Father’s dwelling place, HEAVEN, His name is JESUS and He says all you who will believe in My name, will be saved a seat in my bus and consequently get you home safely.

If you are reading this post and do not know this Man but wish to know more about Him, then you would have to accept Him, as your Lord and personal savior so say this prayer after me.

If you have said this prayer believe that you have been saved the bibles says for it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:10 (NIV)

God bless you. For further information reach me via mail, papberryofficial@gmail.com.
