Happy Easter

If there is anything this season of Easter teaches, it is to be humble!!!It is a season of forgiveness, a season to right wrongs and live right.

I pray that the very deeds of Christ on the Cross will inspire you to desire change and work towards it.

Philippians 2:5-11
“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”.

Happy Easter lovely family❤️

Today’s fragrance: Why Easter.

Topic: why Easter?

Scripture: Romans 5:8

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”.

In a few days, believers all over will celebrate Easter and the whole world will also join in to celebrate in their “own way”.
But what really is Easter and why do we make so much “noise” about it?

We’ve heard so many stories some biblical others, not but the story of Easter is the story of God’s wonderful window of Divine Surprise.

I say surprise because even the disciples of Jesus at that time were doubtful of the truth that Jesus was going to destroy the “Temple” and rebuild in 3days.

His death, burial and even resurrection was some kind of a charade to them.

But they really got served with the biggest surprise ever recorded and we (believers) are still enjoying the wonderful surprise package!

The great gift of Easter is hope- the Christian hope which makes us have that confidence in God, His ultimate triumph His goodness and love which nothing can shake.
Believers celebrate to commemorate the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross that brought God’s salvation for mankind into reality.

You see, even while we were still sinners and couldn’t even love ourselves God loved us beyond measure.

Love always involves responsibility and sacrifice and we see that made manifest when the love of God pushed Christ to the cross.
Now what’s the point in professing your love for God when you are not prepared to face His task or pick His cross so as to give others the hope we have received ?

We must know that Outside the cross of Jesus Christ, there is no hope in this world. That cross and resurrection at the core of the Gospel is the only hope for humanity!
God proved His love on the cross. When Christ hung and bled and died it was God saying to the world ” I LOVE YOU”

So to you who have already accepted Jesus what are you doing this season and beyond to lead others to Him?

And to you who haven’t encountered Him yet, there He stands at the doors of your heart knocking, would you open and accept His love?

Lord, thank you for my life today, please forgive my sins. Thank you for loving me that much and thank you for sending Jesus to die for my sins therefore liberating me off my shackles. I promise to live for you alone because you died so I would live. Thank you Father in Jesus name, amen.
