Thoughtful Tuesday.

Hello everyone, it’s the last Tuesday of the year 2016,and I’m glad for I’m sharing something very important today that we all need to remember going into a new year.

I trust you are well by grace.

Let’s get going then…

“God is not an option, He is a necessity“.

Before the foundations of the earth was laid, God existed.

He has always been the real deal and not some backup plan.

Remember that without Him, nothing was made that has been made.

God is a necessity, He is a must-have. We more than need Him to survive. He is not some spare tyre that we only remember when our existing tyre gets flat.

If you want things to go well for you and with you, then you better start with Him to avoid all the stress associated with cooking without the main ingredient, even water will taste better than that food even though water is tasteless.

So let it be known to you and the world that the real deal is God first and other things will be added not the other way.

God is a necessity not an option!

Thoughful Tuesday

It’s a Thoughtful Tuesday and as you already know, it’s time to share a quote with you so here you go…

“Don’t tell God you have a BIG PROBLEM, tell your problem you have a BIG GOD”.

For some reason beyond comprehension everything about God seems to be big, huge, wide, large…(you can add up ’cause for me I’m choked on the right words to use) yet in His vastness we don’t get lost but rather find abundance of mercies, grace, favor and love.

The question here is How do you see God? Do you see Him before all things and above all things?

I tell you this truth that the way you see God is how much you are going to receive from Him.

If you see Him to be small, well, you will look foward to receiving things in that range but if you see Him as One who holds the entire universe in the palm of His hands then man! You are in for something unimaginable!

So tell me, what is it that you have allowed to take charge of your life?

Are you still complaining to God about your problem? Making Him look as if He is incapable?

I think there should be a reverse right about now, you must be able to man up if you know the kind of God you serve and face that trouble head on!!

Speak the Word into that situation.

He has put enough power in your mouth to speak life into that situation because His Word is life.

Let that situation you facing right now know the power at work in you is greater and has already conquered all things including that situation!!

Stay positive till we meet again,

Sunday Note

Blessed Sunday to you all😅, a little note to you as you prepare for church service.

Exodus 35:4-5
Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the Lord has commanded: From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering of gold, silver and bronze;…

I have come to believe that there is a great reason behind why “pay days” are mostly on Fridays and the beginning of a new week starts on Sunday.

You know, it is saddening that sometimes when it comes to the things of God, we intentionally select the least of what we have and render it as our offering.

Meanwhile God gave us the very best of Himself (His Son) when we were consumed by sin.

I believe that since our wages are mostly paid on Fridays and the new week begins on Sunday,(atleast my calendar affirms this), a day of which most believers meet for corporate worship, the very best of what we have should be given to God on this day, before other things come in. But what do we see?

We go to church with our wallets full of cash because we have received our wages and when an offering is being raised, we search through the cash and find the least and offer that to God.

Are we not to give God the best and use the remaining to attend to other matters?

We have reversed this by spending all our cash on other things within the week and by the time it gets to Sunday we will be left with coins! This is because we treat the day of the Lord as the last day instead of the firstday.

My point exactly is that, after all God has done and keeps doing for us, the least we can do is to repackage the blessings and gifts He gives us right back to Him.

God has blessed us with gifts for the benefit of the church and ourselves, ultimately to bring glory to Himself.

Out of the skill or talent He has given you, what are you giving back to Him? is what you are giving Him better than what you give to the world?

Exodus 35:21

and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments.

It doesn’t matter the quantity you give to Him, it could be small but of high quality and from the willing heart.

If it was about quantity, that poor widow would not have touched the heart of Jesus by those coins she gave.

She didn’t have in abundance but she gave her all, and the very best, wholeheartedly.

Exodus 36:6-7

Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more, because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.

Have you ever exceeded a target set for a godly project? Or you even complain about why those targets are set because you are unwilling to give to God?

Do reflect on these words.

Fearing God

We fear many bad things: Crime, car accidents, devastating storms, viruses, chemical weapons, mass murderers, terrorists, earthquakes, demons and Satan himself!
But fearing God is having dominion over these things! Because God is bigger than every storm in our life.

Fearing God does not mean hiding from Him, or running away from His presence.
It is only wicked and cruel people that we run away from but our God is nothing close to that!
He is not unjust.
Whatever He does is perfect and in the right direction but because humans always want things to be done in the natural (our way) even when we are wrong, we tend to dislike anyone stepping in their way.
Fearing God is a positive rather than negative thing. It saves us from caving into our own sinful desires.

Anyone who does not fear God is rebellious.
Proverbs 8:13
To fear the Lord is to hate evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil behavior and perverse speech.

Fearing God saves us from caving into our own sinful desires like ungodly relationships, doing drugs, adultery, idolatry, arrogance, pride, alcoholism, homosexuality, fornication…
It saves us from our very selves because most often, these perverse acts leads to destruction.

God wants His children to fear Him, that is give reverence(respect) to Him for who He is. It helps us to take Him and His beneficial laws seriously.
Inasmuch as fearing Has negative implications but that is a healthy fear, He always wants us near because that keeps us in check and prevents us from crossing the line of good over to evil.

We must fear God for He is capable of anything when we fail to obey( to every action there is a reaction).
His wrath is dreadful and no one can stand but that does not render Him unjust and unloving, His love is to the extreme and His wrath also is.
Is it not wise to fear God?

Matthew 10:28
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Let us all remember that there is a place we must go after life on earth, what will be the significance of the life we are living here if it will not send us into that better place where no evil will be?

Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember your Creator
in the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come…

A time will come when you as a youth will not have the strength like you do now, so use your might now to serve God before you are rendered handicapped by life and can do nothing for Him.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind.
For God will bring every deed into judgment,
including every hidden thing,
whether it is good or evil.

He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says…

Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for today and the gift of life given me, i am grateful for your love and mercies towards me.
Father please forgive me of all errors committed against you, and wash me that i may be clean.
Father lay hold of my heart and heal my unbelief, help me live a life that will please you. Close the door behind me that leads me constantly to the world and open the one ahead of me that leads me into your very presence.
I desire to do your will but i am weak, today i acknowledge that you are my strength and i can do nothing without you and so help me father, help me overcome this hurdle ahead daily as i draw closer to you.
Thank you for making your ears attent unto my prayer in Jesus name have i prayed, Amen.

Thoughtful Tuesday

Hey there, how are you doing?

I’m glad to come your way again to share this quote with you…

Any time I see this post this scripture comes to mind.

Matthew 24:35

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

The word of God is not affected by external factors. Not inflation, not famine nor any disaster.

Even though as ages pass, new developments crop in and human moral standards  keep dropping due to what they call “human rights” we still have that Word that does not change.

Sometime ago there were certain acts that were frowned upon in certain countries but today they are legally accepted.

One thing I want you to take note of is that, the standards of God never changes because He is God! the same yesterday, today and will forever be!

Even if inflation affects anything in this world, it goes no where near God’s word for they are not manmade!

Incase you’ve forgotten God still rewards them that diligently seek Him against all odds and those who go against Him still suffer the consequences therein.

Be wise, be smart, do not go with the world but rather the Word! Because it’s alive and active.

Enjoy your day, till we meet again stay blessed.
