Scripture: Isaiah 59:2

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear”.

The reason why you are not receiving that help in times of need might be because of you.
One thing I’ve learnt in life is that humans most times, when messed up in some situations will try to find someone to push the blame on just to satisfy our conscience.

But there is One who consistently “suffers” in the hands of humans in these cases…God…haha

It’s funny but pretty intense, I mean how can you attribute your problems to Someone who takes no delight in seeing you drop a tear and for that matter bottles it up so that they don’t even touch the ground!

We’ve all at a point in our lives felt as though we were all alone in this space God made all because we feel God has gone mute on us.

Let me tell you that God hasn’t changed, He is still where He is which is closer to you than your skin! So don’t for once think that He would ever forsake you because He will never go against His word.

The problem isn’t with God but us, He doesn’t move from us, we do, when we sin then after we condemn ourselves as unworthy of His presence even when He is offering forgiveness.

The connection between God and man is a Holy one and once it gets broken…it must be fixed else no call will get through to Him like a distorted telephone line. But should this happen, how will He hear us not to even talk of meeting our needs?

God loves your company so much that He wishes you never leave His sight even a second. But it’s rather unfortunate that sometimes we allow the desires of our flesh to lead us to sin thereby making an impenetrable dark or curtain separating us, and making it close to impossible to get to Him even though He is close.
Sometimes we don’t receive answers to our prayers because genuinely it’s not time yet. But there are others that never really got to Him due to the fact that we’ve been stuck in our own pile of sin unwilling to change our ways yet we want to see God’s glory revealed in us…

This is a special note to you who constantly like to attribute every wrong thing in your life to God, I wanna kindly ask for you to check yourself before you do that next time.

Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save,nor his ear too dull to hear.

Call on Him today and be saved.

Prayer

1. Thank God for your life.

2. Ask for forgiveness of sin 

3. Sincerely Lay everything bare before Him so that you may be saved and consequently find help in your time of need.

4. Thank Him for receiving you once again in Jesus name, amen.
