TODAY’S FRAGRANCE : SHOW LOVE TO ALL

“As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially UNTO THEM WHO ARE OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH.” GALATIANS 6:10

The afore mentioned scripture reminds us of the need to be caring, loving and helpful towards All men, most especially to our brothers and sisters in the Lord. In Mathew 24:12, Jesus said, “…because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” He spoke concerning the end times; a time when many would care for no one else but themselves. Today’s fragrance: He’s never let me down.

Scripture: Psalm 71:5
“You keep me going when times are tough– my bedrock, GOD, since my childhood”.

I remember all the struggles and pain felt during some stages of my life quite vividly and I also remember and know that if it hadn’t been for God, I wouldn’t be alive sharing these messages with you.
God has proved to me countless times that He is faithful and that He indeed rewards them that diligently seek Him!
His protection has been upon me even before I was conceived in my mothers womb and has never taken His eyes off me for a second.

He has been my backbone, without Him inplace I’m unable to stand on my feet.

There are lots of things I’m able to do now because God is in the right place in my life.

All I’m trying to get at is that, God loves all His Children equally and if I’m testifying that He’s never let me down, then it means same applies to you He will never let you down!

You know why? Because we are family and God loves His family dearly.

Never lose Hope my dear, because God will never let you down! He is faithful.

Blessings…

Today’s fragrance: Love Right.

Today’s fragrance by Papberry

Topic: love right

Scripture: John 13:34

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

If I’m to ask you of one distinct trait that will make you identify someone as a Christian, what would that be?

I’m quite sure I will get one of these as your answer: devotion to the work of God, regular church attendance, intensity of prayer, dressing, attitude, ability to recite lots of biblical quotations and so on.

These are all good but there is one greater and it ought to be the trade mark of all Christians, without it you can’t call yourself a Christian and that is Love.

John 13:35

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Love is the only thing that associates us with Jesus but it’s rather unfortunate we have limited it to a feeling.

I think Love is a doing/action word more than a feeling word, proof, John 3:16.

Love is when you see someone hungry and you feed that person and not just saying God will provide Or uttering words of encouragement and after pass by to enjoy that delicious meal you bought on the way alone.

We cannot claim to love God so much yet we are at loggerheads with our next door neighbors.

Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

If you treat others less than yourself then the message below is for you…

Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

Treat others well, let your words of love match your thoughts and action and by that others will see and give glory to your father in heaven.

Blessings…

Prayer

1. Thank God for today, your life and this message.

2. Ask for forgiveness of sins.

3. It is only God who can teach you how to love right because He is Love, Ask that He helps you with that.

4. Thank Him for an answered prayer in Jesus name, amen.

Today’s fragrance: Drop that selfish ambition.

Today’s fragrance by Papberry

Topic: Drop that selfish ambition

Scripture: Philippians 2:3-4

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Many times we do things for people with a sort of hidden agenda… It’s either we want be praised for our works (eye service) or to get a favor in return.

I always say that Christians are so fortunate to have a role model who is perfect and also perfects anyone who chooses to follow him, in himself.

A lot of us don’t even remember the last time we purchased something with others in mind, something like ohh wow, this dress will look good on Benewaa, let me get it for her. Naaa, it’s always me, me, me, and me, even if the thing isn’t your size you will force and wear and eventually get it torn.

It’s funny how Sometimes when we want to even buy something, because we don’t want to share with anyone we intentionally select the very ones we know our friends hate so we can enjoy alone…I hope someone can relate to this!

Learn to give whatever you can, love, your service, time, money… And expect nothing back.

There is nothing that goes unrecorded in the books of God so never grow weary of doing good, at the right time you will receive your reward.

Just incase you think no one sees your doings, remember that God is all seeing and all knowing…

If we as Christians decide to even look at others above ourselves and also consider their interests , we will end up taking care of ourselves indirectly as someone else will be doing the same things we are doing for others unto us. It’s like a cycle and as the saying goes, what goes around comes around.

I think that sometimes we must lay aside some “positions” we have like Jesus and put ourselves in the shoes of others whether it fits or not and walk in it. Then we will be able to understand what they go through.

Let’s learn to sacrifice a little bit of our resources…time, money… To help bring someone out of the gutters or build a bridge for them to cross to the other side.

Blessings…

Prayer

1. Thank God for today, your life and this message.

2. Ask for forgiveness of Sins.

3. Ask God to give you the courage to dare consider others before yourself and also pray that He puts His love in your heart so you can give selflessly.

4. Thank God for an answered prayer in Jesus name, amen.
